Mr. Vela Córdova is a former law clerk to Justice Anabelle Rodríguez of the Puerto Rico Supreme Court, a former assistant legal counsel to the Governor of Puerto Rico, an adjunct professor of intellectual property law, and holds a Ph.D. in political science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
